Jon Rune Strøm is one of Norways most sought after bassist, and he is active in bands such as All Included, Frode Gjerstad Trio, Universal Indians, Large Unit and Friends&Neighbors, as well as solo performances. Kepler is his new band with original compositions by Jon Rune, and the music is based on riffs for electric and acoustic basses, and melodic motifs for the horns.
This is energetic, genre-crossing jazz with lots of room for improvisation and dynamics!
